If you look at philanthropy as social currency - contributing not only dollars but time and talent, what does your company do to contribute to philanthropy and corporate social responsibility?
Union Packaging emphasizes diverse, non-traditional employment practices through partnerships with nonprofit organizations that are adept at identifying excellent candidates. With these organizations acting as pipelines, we have hired dozens of employees with disabilities, learning differences, and other barriers to traditional employment. These partnerships give us the power to offer the right opportunities to potential employees who are willing to learn, and excited about getting back into the workforce.

In our 20+ years of operation, Union Packaging has been dedicated to community stewardship, but we cannot lose sight of the fact our community is still faced with dramatic economic disparities and discrimination. As a team, we derive satisfaction from combating these issues. We feel good when we do good and have gained matchless rewards from giving back. Our ambition is to meet real community needs with the triple bottom line: profit, people, and the planet.
